UNISON PRAYER

Awesome and great God, whose holiness is beyond our capacity even to imagine - we worship you.  God of Abraham and Sarah,  we glorify you as our God also.  Your care for your people of old is evident through the stories of your involvement and constant covenant with them.  Your care for us is evident through your grace and mercy which we experience in Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.  You love us so lavishly and empower us so mightily, that we come to see the world as a place charged with blessing - your blessing. We realize that we stand on holy ground whenever we are in your presence O God.  We offer this time of worship as our response to your extravagant initiative of entering our lives in the person of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray.  Amen.

An Evensong Service

a time of prayer, reflection, scripture and music

Come and worship on Wednesday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary as we look to God through song, scripture, reflection and music for wisdom and guidance in the upcoming election.  This lovely and meaningful time of worship will be quiet and reflective lasting about 45 minutes.  All are invited and welcomed as we worship together.

Over the next several weeks, Pastor Dale will be preaching on themes from the Study Guide, “Gifts: The Joy of Serving God”.  Even if you are not in one of the study groups, these sermons will encourage you in your daily walk with God.  Today’s message: “What Curiosity Can Get You”.   Next week’s sermon: Comparison: The Killjoy of Servanthood.”

The JD’s are taking orders for Sub Sandwiches & Carmel Apples after worship today.  Orders may be picked up at the Bazaar or Sunday, November 7.  Proceeds will go to the group’s admission to the Rock Your World Junior High retreat at Center Lake Camp.
